Hi Bumblebees,
Another successful week! We had so much fun talking about our bodies that God made, lots of different beautiful colors God made, and getting to know each other better. Enjoy the pictures.
Starting this week, your child writes their first name every morning when they come into the classroom. Please practice this with your child!

Reading Chester's journal about his super fun weekend with Haley!

What color skin, eyes, hair, and lips did God give you?

So different, and yet all so special!

Head, and shoulders, knees, and toes! (what good exercise!)

What color eyes do you have?

We have WAY more brown eyes in our class than any other color!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You Hear? (I think this might be the current favorite book in our class!)

We know our colors and how to sort them!

What can you do with your hands? I hope you got a chance to read the class book we made!

The Beanbag Boogie not only reinforces all our body parts, it's FUN too!

We can find the first letter of our names in the alphabet!

Coloring a beautiful rainbow (and practicing using watercolor paint for the first time)

Spanish with Mrs. Keren started this week....we practiced colors!

Reading "Dog's Colorful Day" by Emma Dodd ...

...and coloring the messy dog from the story. We will be doing a lot of book-related activities this year in the hopes of encouraging a love of stories, and reading. If you could get the books we read from the library and read with your child, that would be a huge help and reinforcement of what we do at school!

Working on the very basic, yet very important skill of coloring! We did our best....and had some very tired hands!

Our September calendar has an ABAB pattern on it!

ABC Bingo! So much fun that we don't know we're learning!

Chester is going home with Yena, Mackenzie has our class picture book, and Matthew is borrowing our Brown Bear book this weekend. Have fun!
