Week of 1/24 - 1/27

Hi Bumblebees,
I hope you all got a chance to wish Mrs. Valeria a happy birthday this week, and thank her for all she does daily for your children! I am especially thankful for her this week as I fought off laryngitis! Enjoy the pictures.

Now that we are more than halfway through the alphabet, we will continue to review all the letters we have studied so far. ABC Bingo is a fun way to do that!

Just a reminder.....Field Day had to be postponed from this week due to all the rain/bad weather we had. I will let you know when it is to be rescheduled for when I find out.

Week of 1/18 - 1/20

Hi Bumblebees,
You will notice that due to the shorter school week, there are less pictures this time. We still managed to get in a lot of learning and fun though!

*TUESDAY @ 9:20 our class is sharing the story and a song in chapel. If you'd like to join us, please drop off your child, and then wait in the church lobby until chapel time. If you can't make it, we'll take pictures!
*WEDNESDAY @ 11:00 our class will be having "field day" for an hour outside. Pray for good weather! Please have your child wear a sports shirt that day (from a team they're on, or a team they like, etc).

Week of 1/10 - 1/13

Hi Bumblebees,
Thanks to so many of you who sent in the project about your jobs/careers. That helped us tremendously as we talked about community helpers this week! Enjoy the pictures.

Often you can tell about a person's job just by the uniform or clothes they wear!
After reading our book-of-the-week about a messy mouse eating lunch....we made our own messy mice! I hope you got to read our copy of the book!
Thanks to police officer Juanita from the Safety Village, a community helper who came to talk to us about Stranger danger. Ask your child what they learned!
Future doctors?
Our mom's and dad's jobs are now in our class picture book! Thanks again to all of you who did those. Your kids were so proud to show you off! When it's your child's turn to bring the picture book home, take a look!
Even though we learn a new letter every week, we daily practice all the letters we've already learned.
We FINALLY have a working computer in our center room! Yeah!
