Hi Bumblebees,
Once again, we packed a lot of fun and learning into just 4 days! One more week before spring break!!
Reading Chester & Ronnie's journal about their fun weekend with Samantha!

BUGS!! We decorated our bug jars to look like bumblebees, of course!

Getting outside stuff for our bug jars....did any of you put a real, live bug in there yet?

Sammy showing us all the great "T" stuff he brought in the class sound box!

We had so much fun decorating and dressing our teddy bears!

Our teddy bears did the
twist with Alphabet Al!

We read Goldilocks and the Three Bears...
The GREAT BIG Papa Bears!

The middle-sized mama bears,

and the
teeny
tiny baby bears!

We wrote the words "
ten
teddy bears" in our journals, and then had to glue exactly 10 in!

Aren't our
teddy bears cute?

When we left for the playground, our teddy bears were sleeping, but when we came inside, we were so surprised!

Our teddy bears had set up a picnic to have with us!

Zach got to take our letter-of-the-week book home this week. Ten Apples Up On Top! by Dr. Seuss (writing as Theo LeSieg)

We made our own version of the book....hope you got a chance to look at it!

T is for
teddy bears you can eat! Yum!

What color is your
t-shirt?

Our
t-shirts can make the letter t!

Apparently our little leprechauns came to life and left footprints and goodies around the room!

The seeds we planted last week have begun to sprout! Your child will be taking these home next week.

We have begun learning our initials!

counting shamrocks to the number
ten!

We have begun learning how to count dots on a dice...it's more fun if you get to catch/throw the dice though!

The penguin class came in to share their St. Patrick's Day song with us...we are learning how to be a good/appreciative audience!

Please check this picture to see if your child is responsible for anything this weekend. Have fun!

NEXT WEEK:
*The letter U (please send in a "u" picture in the letter envelope on MONDAY)
*Construction/building
Please practice with your child:
*all letters/sounds A through U
*their initials
*counting by 10s to 100
*recognizing the number of dots on dice
Class wish list:
*we need pictures of vegetables when we get back from Spring Break (when we're on the letter V). If you could, please save your grocery store ads for us, just send them in with your child, and we'll find the vegetables. Thanks!
