Week of 3/7 - 3/10

Hi Bumblebees,
What a busy week we had! Thank you for keeping up with all the special days and events! Our parents are the best!

Reading Chester & Ronnie's journal about their fun weekend with Mackenzie!
We decorated our pots and filled them with dirt....
planted some seeds....
watered them....and are waiting for them to grow!
Yena showing us the great "S" items she brought in the class sound box
S is for spin with Alphabet Al!
GREEN DAY!
Kate got to take our letter-of-the-week book home this week. The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Vernon Lloyd!
S is for snakeskin!!
We had so many complimentary comments about our beautiful Growing Garden! Could you tell which baby matched which Bumblebee?
Check out our 's' list this week! Your kids thought of all of these, and more!
We are so cool in our stripes and sunglasses!
And check out our silly socks!
We found the letter s in our daily sentence!
We finally made it! We have counted one bumblebee a day....to 100!! We will begin practicing counting by 10's, so please practice with your child!
Don't your kids look great on a 100 dollar bill?
Decorating 100 circles to make the number 100!
We collected so many things!
In honor of Day 100, we celebrated all things related to numbers....like number BINGO!!
Please check this picture to see if your child is responsible for anything this weekend. Have fun!
NEXT WEEK:
*The letter T (please send in a "t" picture in the letter envelope on MONDAY)
*BUGS!!
*TUESDAY--Teddy Bear Day! Please bring a teddy bear to school (and please make sure it is a teddy BEAR, not any other kind of stuffed animal...if your child doesn't have one, please let me know, and I can let them borrow one of ours)
*WEDNESDAY--T-shirt Day! Please have your child wear a solid-colored t-shirt to school (any color is fine!)
*THURSDAY--I know we just had green day here at school, but in honor of St. Patrick's Day, you can have your child wear green again (this is optional, they don't have to)

Please practice with your child:
*All letters and sounds, A through T
*Counting by 10's (10, 20, 30, etc to 100)
*Parts of a plant (roots, stems, leave, flower)
