Week of 12/6 - 12/9

Hi Bumblebees,
You will notice there are not as many pictures on this week's blog. This is due mainly to the fact that we spent a good majority of our time this week practicing for our Christmas program. We did manage to squeeze in some fun and learning though!

Decorating stockings to decorate our room!
We were so impressed with the gingerbread projects! They were each so different, and the kids were so proud to tell us how they made them! Thanks for your help!
Stockings hanging by the "fire"
I hope all you parents got a chance to check out our Christmas wish list!
Thanks so much to Samantha and her family for sending in the beautifully decorated (and yummy) gingerbread men!
YUM!
After reading many variations of the Gingerbread Man story, our class made our own! I hope you got a chance to read through it!
We got to make our own play-doh gingerbread men!
We had so many different versions of the story, and we got to take turns reading them with our class gingerbread man.
Reading Chester's journal about his fun weekend with Brianna!
To round out our studying The Gingerbread Man story, of course we had to decorate our own! Thanks to Zach and his family for sending in the gingerbread!
Fun!
and cute!
Not much going home this weekend, please check this picture to see if your child is responsible for anything. Have fun!
NEXT WEEK:
*Continued focus on Christmas, so no letter-of-the-week
