Week of 4/18 - 4/21

Hi Bumblebees,
We're back up and running this week. Sorry about last week! Enjoy the pictures.

Reading Chester & Ronnie's journal about their fun weekend with Zach!
Decorating our Easter crosses (Jesus died AND LIVES for you!!)
Practicing all our letters!
We got to share the pattern we used on our Easter egg with the class

More alphabet review!
Decorating Easter eggs, practicing more patterns
Painting our Easter Bunny ears!
We did ALL the letters we've learned so far again with Alphabet Al!
Thanks for helping your kids with the Easter egg patterns....they look great!
Decorating our Easter "baskets" in preparation for dyeing Easter eggs
We have turned into Easter Bunnies. Good thing we all like carrots!
What a nice, bright sunny day for our Easter bonnet parade!
We were of course the most beautiful class in the parade!
We had so much fun dyeing our real Easter eggs!

Thanks so much to all of you who sent in hard-boiled eggs. Our egg-dyeing was a huge success!
They turn out so cool!
We were fortunate to get a visit from the Trace Academy middle school. They told us the story of Easter
and helped us make "resurrection bracelets." Each different color bead stands for a different part of the Easter story. See if your child can tell you!
Please check this picture to see if your child is responsible for anything this weekend. Have fun!
NEXT WEEK:
*The letter X (please send in a picture of something that starts OR ENDS with the letter X in the letter envelope on MONDAY)
*Earth Day/The Environment

Please practice with your child:
*simple rhyming words
*counting dots on dice
*all letters/sounds A through X
*counting by 10s to 100
